Teardrop Bag–Completed and 2 Winners!

I'm going to hurry through this post today, it is Independence Day weekend here in the U.S. and I want to hang out with family, I think.

The Teardrop bag was quite easy to make, I recommend you all try it if you have the book, it is very roomy inside as well.  May I also suggest saving your scraps to make next month's bag.

Here's my bag, I made the large one:

My photographer modeled the second side for me:

Soul_Sister's bag is rocking!  I love that fabric, I don't see enough fabric with black on it.

This bag by weiswoman is just pretty, it looks perfectly sewn, too!

This looks like a special bag for that little bag carrier in your life!

Congratulations on making your bag, everyone!  We are done with 6 months already!  Can you believe it?

For June, The Style Stitches Monthly Bag Challenge 2011 sponsors are:

Above All Fabric, who is awarding a $25 gift certificate!  Melanie is having a big sale right now!

Fat Quarter Shop, who is awarding a $50 gift certificate!  There's always some quilting going on at their blog!

Now, let's announce the 2 winners for this month's challenge.

I used Random Number Generator to select the winners…

Congratulations, ladies!

Now, you must SEND ME AN E-MAIL TO CLAIM YOUR GIFT CERTIFICATE.  The first person who sends me a message gets to pick first, the second person gets the alternative gift certificate.  You can reply to this post if you like, but you must send me a separate e-mail to claim your prize.

My address is jemelliahilfiger AT yahoo.com.  I suggest copying and pasting it to get it correct.

If you have not e-mailed me within 7 days, I will draw for another winner.

Congrats to everyone who made a bag for the challenge, told someone about the challenge, or both!

A very big thank you to our June sponsors!

Fat Quarter Shop and Above All Fabric!

Check back soon for July's bag post, I think it will be up by the fourth, I just want to get off of the computer this weekend…

  1. Yay! Thanks so much Jemellia! I just sent you an email. I can’t wait to go shopping! 🙂

  2. This bag is so beautiful Jemellia! It is even more goregous in person! That fabric you chose is smokin’ hot!
(I now recall we were supposed to take a pic of this the other night! BTW, thanks for going with me…it was fun!)
